Re: Wormtongue
Hi Draxx,
Wormtongue was originally released and written in Swedish for the precursor to TC so it shouldn't be a problem. The 5e version is a bit more expanded but the narrative itself hasn't changed a great deal (at least not in any way that wouldn't work in TC) as far as I can tell.

Re: Burden and Load
Usually, I wouldn't use any actual rules for burden and load other than what feels resonable. However, such rules can be useful in certain situations and adventures when I want the players to consider carefully and make choices about what items they want to bring with them. For those situations I've...

Re: Damage of a spell
Don't worry, you're not being irritating or anything :) Some spells (especially in fire craft) was nerfed in this edition compared to the last Swedish edition (which is almost identical in most ways). In that edition flame burst dealt a raw damage of 1d10(OR9-10) and sea of fire dealt 1d10(OR8-10). ...

Re: Damage of a spell
haha, yes I had the same concerns when I first learned the system :) (my first character was a Vitner Weaver who used dimvitner) and felt that vitner weavers were underpowered compared to dimwalkers. I've changed my mind about this as I've grown more comfortable with the system however. My first ans...

Re: Two-handed weapon fighting & Faq
Yeah, 1-handed weapon and shield is probably better for many characters but I don't think it is too unbalanced really. Generally speaking, 2-handers deal a lot more damage, getting open rolls on roughly 1/3 of all their hits while 1-handers get it on 1/10th (for light weapons) and 1/5th (for heavy w...

Re: Evade
hi! First, you should absolutely play with your own version of evade if you think that it is more realistic and/or fun. However, the rule does indeed say that you can't do anything else while evading. My own interpretation of this is that evading is a more dedicated action (such as jumping out of ra...

Re: Negations
Hi, I think this is a great topic so I hope more people will give their thoughts on it! I've used negations in several ways. First, negations also affect NPC-vitner weavers so it can be a great way to show that someone is weaving vitner nearby (crops inexplicably fail, milk turns sour, animals behav...

Re: Armour durability
Personally I like it a lot as armour work a lot more dynamic (you'll need to switch and/or repair armour a lot more often). I don't think players should place too much trust in weaker armours as they are a secondary defense (the first being parries), and as they don't protect a lot to begin with (me...
