Re: Crafting with rare materials

Yeah, I already have and read Musphelheim.
I think I'll go for the harder version: mitraka need special knowledge and equipment if you want to repair it.
The same have to be considered for dragon skin.
I think I'm this way player characters can appreciate how special these things are.

Crafting with rare materials

Hello, I don't know if this is the correct section for my question. My group have just left Wildheart. They are pretty battered but also richier with good equipment. I was especially thinking about a Mitraka Chainmail and e small shield made of Dragon skin. They also have carved part of a Lindwurm's...

Traveling from Silvtronder to Stormlands

Hello, I have a simple question. I'm putting things into place for starting Snowsaga in the near future and I've always had a doubt about it. At the very beginning of act1 when the heroes arrive at the port it arrives also a ship from Silvtronder. Well, what kind of route need to take such kind of s...

Re: Media

@Mellekai: thanks, I started with the witcher's soundtrack and it's really cool. I wish to add new ideas: the soundtrack from Divinity Original Sin 1 and 2 have some pieces that really create an atmosphere. Also, mongolian throat singing (I'm thinking about The Hu, but any throat singing can do the ...

Re: Media

Well, I'm a big fan of Amon Amarth. I really recommend them.
Reading the books with their last album in background is super cool and I saw that in Runes of Memory there is also a quote from them.

"The Berserker at Stanford Bridge" and "Ironside" gave me inspiration for at least two npc, for example.

Re: Damage of a spell

haha, yes I had the same concerns when I first learned the system :) (my first character was a Vitner Weaver who used dimvitner) and felt that vitner weavers were underpowered compared to dimwalkers. I've changed my mind about this as I've grown more comfortable with the system however. My first an...

Re: Damage of a spell

Uhm. I have a vitner weaver in my group. Maybe the player is not too skilled in the game, I don't know, but everytime I see him fighting it's just a bit anticlimatic. He need to consume a tons of vitner point just to get an open roll of 8 (it depends on the spell, but 15-20 vp are a lot if you have ...
